This project has had a tremendous impact on not only my knowledge of WWII but also my knowledge of American History. Over the course of my research I have learned all about the bravery and courage Samuel B. Tobin had to fight in WWII. I learned what it means to make sacrifices for your country and that freedom is the goal that everyone is striving towards. If I could talk to Samuel B. Tobin I would ask him what interested him in joining the army. Was is the want for freedom? Did you just have an interest in the army and fighting for your country? I would say my most important source was Ancestry.com because it gave me the most accurate information on Samuel B. Tobin and his family.  Ancestry had information his immediate family as well as information on Samuel B. Tobin's appearance which was interesting to read about. Another implement I learned while researching this project was gratitude. I learned that there are many ways to express gratitude, personally, I show gratitude toward Samuel B. Tobin by researching him. This project redefined the way that I view gratitude and how to express it. I give my gratitude to Samuel B. Tobin for his impact on WWII and for his bravery fighting in the war.
